Marry Me: Stories from the San Francico Weddings - More Information...
Our cameras rolled at city hall while the weddings took place. The love, excitement and electricity were palpable. Two couples we met invited us to their ceremonies. Joel and Fred called for hours to get an appointment to wed, and on March 3rd they became spouses for life. They were joined by friends, and although their families couldn’t be there, Joel’s siblings sent yarmulkes and a glass for them to break to include Joel’s Jewish heritage in the ceremony. Fred and Joel told us the story of their relationship, their love, the excitement of their wedding day and how being married changed their relationships. Annie and Rochelle flew up from Long Beach to make their wedding appointment. When we met with them at their home they reiterated what we had found to be true while we were making this film.

The New Yorkers
There are a million stories in New York City, but these are the ones behind the scenes and below the radar. Each episode takes a very personal slice of the Big Apple, profiling two individuals who embody the spirit of New York City, from the organ player at Yankee Stadium to the salad bar Queen of New York City; from a child chess champion to a third generation door-to-door salesman.
The first program, "Broadway Characters," profiles two New Yorkers who make a unique mark on the Broadway experience-legendary caricaturist Al Hirschfeld and theatrical sign language interpreter Candace Broeker. All told in thirteen 30-minute episodes. Co-produced with WLIW-21.
