They Came To America Shot on location around the United States, the stories come from a recent immigrant from Sierra Leone, Chicano American Cheech Marin and others and remind us of the bounty we enjoy as Americans and the struggles of those who came before us. Along with the program Santa Fe published a companion book “They Came to America: Finding Your Immigrant Ancestors.”
